HIGH DRIVE NEW BUILD 4 X 2SC2879 BLACK DOT's USED IN RANGER RADIOS 500 WATT PEP

I have had many request for amplifiers and have decide to build a few and offer them up on eBay. I plan to build 3 more at this time so watch for more. I'll keep them simple and build 2 or 4 pill units. Being offered is a 4 pill 2SC2879 black dot transistors. These are the same transistors used in the Ranger 2970N4 radio. This unit should have a minimum of 60 amp power supply as each diode could draw up to 15 amps each under load. I tested it using my Ranger 63FFD4 with only the radio power of 4 watts swinging to 30 watts and achieved 450 watts. I built this amp as a high drive and recommend no more than 20 watts average or around 100 pep in. Not sure you will hurt the transistors but you will damage the keying circuit. Check out the photos as I took pictures along the build. It's working perfectly as designed and will give someone many hours of trouble free use as long as you supply it plenty of power and don't over drive it. Comes with a 3' power cord attached wired with 4 gauge wire with a 175 amp quick connect. It has a built in cooling fan to keep the unit cool and working trouble free. Ask your questions before bidding all sales are final. Look at my feedback I don't sell junk. Measure 7.75" x 6.5" x 3.5" very small and compact.
