    Description

Dollhouse Miniature 1930's Painted Wooden Cradle and Potty Chair and Chamber Pot. This antique 1930"s era dollhouse cradle and very hard to find child's potty chair with china chamber pot is unbranded and in fair condition, as it has been well played with for three generations. It looks like the cradle rocker bottom has been repaired (glued) in one place. Also, I'm quite ashamed to say... the J.F. written on the bottom of the rocker, was written by me 65 years ago. Both the cradle and potty chair have obvious paint chips, but the wood is still in good condition. I am not sure of the scale. The cradle measures 3 1/2" tall, 4" wide and 3 1/4" deep, including the bottom rockers. The potty chair measures 2 1/2" tall, 1 5/8" wide and 1 1/2" deep. They are painted creamy white color and are from a smoke free home. The china chamber pot has an embossed design on the front. While these pieces are not branded, I've found very similar pieces online which are Strombecker, and know they are of the same era. I strive to be completely honest in the details of my descriptions. Please view the photos for condition and feel free to message me with any concerns or questions.I am currently downsizing my collections in my retirement years as a promise to my family. I will be listing various antique, vintage and artist made dollhouse pieces or lots of dollhouse things in the coming weeks or months. Most of this antique dollhouse furniture belonged to my mother, who was born in 1922. It has since been passed down through three generations or more... thus "well loved and played with" for almost 100 years. My mother was a collector of "All Things Dolls and Dollhouses" and I grew up sharing and loving our dollhouse/doll times together. Shipped with USPS First Class Mail.
