Dentron MLA 2500 HF Linear Amplifier. Original Owner.. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS First Class.
I am the original owner, bought in 1977. Used with very low hours, Used very occasionally until 2002 . In mint condition externally with no visible flaws. When in use I never loaded it over 800 watts with my Collins KWM-2. The only flaw is the power cable external coat that is peeling off, due to age Kept with all my collection of radios under constant air conditioned environment. Comes with manual and guarantee card. Wired for 220 volts, but can be easily changed. The reason for the sale is that I am moving to an apartment and do not have space. I have reformed the capacitors with a Variac and tested the amplifier with a dummy load and got 1000 Watts. I do not accept returns on this radio. It will be shipped in a professional way.The ceramic tubes will be shipped in a separate box. When I tested the amp. I got easy 1000 Watts but I only used 60 watts of drive, I am positively sure that you could get up to 1500 if you drive it hard, something that I have never done to preserve the expensive ceramic finals.
