    - This tube is to be used when high gas flow rates are required.
    - The sparger pipe extends to the bottom of the vessel and terminates just below the impellers on the stirrer shaft.
    - This allows bubbles coming out of the sparger to rise up into the impellers where they are broken up for improved oxygen transfer.
