    Description

For your consideration, today we are offering ONE VERY NICE AMPLIFIER RESEARCH 300A 100M2 450 WATT, 2-30 MHz SOLID STATE, LINEAR AMPLIFIER, FOR HAM, LABORATORY, OR COMMERCIAL USE. This amplifier, which was originally designed for continuous commercial duty, is being offered for a fraction of it's original price. Originally targeted at the commercial market, due to it's frequency range, this amplifier would also be a great unit for use on the HAM bands. The unit comes from a HAM estate, and is currently set up to be used on 120V. The unit is strapable to 220/240v. The unit has been given a basic test, and puts out full power, into a load, with very minimal input. (we used an MFJ antenna analyzer to drive it to full output power). This is a serious piece of radio gear! The unit shows some minor signs of age/use/handling. The power switch key is included. While we did test this unit, and it is functional, it is sold as is, and may or may not need tweaking or adjustment, when put into service. (as is typical with this type of equipment). You will not find a higher quality solid state amplifier than an Amplifier Research. Due to the weight of the unit (over 100 LBS), it is being offered for local pickup only, I CAN DELIVER THIS UNIT TO THE SUSSEX COUNTY HAMFEST, NJARC SUMMER MEET, AT NO CHARGE. OR OTHER LOCAL HAM FESTS.  or I could arrange to meet or deliver it , within a reasonable distance of Jackson, N.J. for a fee. As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
